In July 2022 we hosted a panel and networking event at the Pumphouse, Winchester. The discussion was based around 'Retaining key female talent: Where are we now?'. We were joined on the panel by Dame Carolyn Fairbairn DBE, April Trubshaw, and John Whelan MBE, as well as 26 business and HR leaders. Along with rich discussion around retaining female leadership, there were also some excellent takeaways on wider talent focus. We're extremely grateful to the panel and everyone for making it such a captivating evening.

The event was so well-received that it inspired us to make this a regular forum, hence, Talking Matters was born. Our focus in on people, business, and how to get the best outcomes for all. Come and join us at our Winchester based events starting this autumn. Any questions don't hesitate to drop an email to Jane or Jenny.

Charles Jennings, Director of Duntroon Consultants and co-founder of the 70:20:10 Institute.

Charles brings a wealth of practical experience to help navigate the increasingly complex (and AI-impacted) world of learning, organisational performance, and continuous improvement. His passion is for integrating learning with working and the need to see teams, rather than individual skills and competencies, as the ‘atomic units’ of value in our organisations. He is a firm believer in evidence-based learning and performance practices, and his work is sometimes challenging to traditional HR, learning, and talent approaches.

Charles believes that ‘conversations are the stem cells of learning’ so there will be plenty of opportunity to engage in discussion throughout!
